The "Blues Buffet" play a great selection of rock'in blues tracks by artists such as Muddy Waters, Lucky Peterson, Jimmy Reed, John Mayall etc as well as original songs off both the "Blues Buffet" albums as well as material from their 3rd album almost completed.

Chris Cain hails from the USA and brings to the stage, a power packed performance of blues guitar and down home vocals.   Add the full power of Rodger Fox’s 18 piece Big Band, this is going to be one helluva concert and CD.

Too funky for folk and too folky for funk - that’s Sonic Delusion’s happy, funky & groovy indie pop. In his boogielicious live performances, Sonic Delusion uses his well worn loop pedal with an array of instruments to skillfully layer and create an irresistible sound that is bursting with more funk than folk can handle.

Presenting the Brotherman Project

‘Brotherman – Crossover Thoughts’ is a project that infuses the modern big band sound with that of Aotearoa-New Zealand Hip-hop. This would be achieved by blending the sound of the Rodger Fox Big Band with that of iconic New Zealand hip-hop artists King Kapisi.

Blues After 5

Free concerts in venues around Palmerston  North. These events will run in bars and cafes around the city (to be confirmed) between 5.00 - 7.00pm on August 31, September 01 & 02 and will finish in time for patrons to attend the festival concerts at the Globe Theatre.
